Saw it last night…

It was pretty good, but who cares about that, did you hear the news?  The lead actor is a homosexual and very active in promoting the homosexual agenda!  This is what my friends and I discussed before the movie, thought about during the movie, and continued to chew on during the car ride home.  I did some research today to get up to speed on all the buzz that I heard through word of mouth last night.  A quick search on Google brought up a good collection of blogs, audio bites, interviews, and news headings that were commenting on the issue, from both conservative Christian and pro homosexual perspectives.  I was naturally drawn to the Christian boycott perspective, since this is the view that seems to frustrate me the most at the current moment.  One blog seemed to do a pretty good of describing the dilemma of the common Christian seeking to do God’s will in regards to this movie.

It’s easy to see what a rotten person Troy is in the middle of his success tirade.  But I had better not enjoy it too much or else I may not learn anything about what was always inside of me.  Success is not the kind of thing that we tend to avoid nor should we, so I guess you are left with the only choice of becoming a better person before it actually happens.  Perhaps I haphazardly enjoy the success that has already been given to me and there is something I could learn about humility even now…
