Spiritual Formation

I was raised in the church, my parents were Christians, and I was involuntarily given a full introduction to all that has become fundamental evangelicalism in modern America. I remain quite thankful for this double edged cultural gift. I believe Jesus Christ was telling the truth in the accounts of his life that have traveled through history to me in the form of the Bible. I am continually exploring the significance of His claims and examining the teachings of the church in regards to those claims. I have recently determined to open up my scope of cultural influence to include much more that what I grew up with, but it is a slow and painful process. Regardless, I believe this process to be good and fundamentally worthwhile. Here are a few of the people and resources that are helping me work it out…
